  1. I can't agree with your post more. I am in the exact same position. I started right out of school into a CTSICU... I hate nightshift, and still feel nervous every minute of the day I am there after a year and a half. I have just accepted a job in the cath lab, but now Im nervous that I will still have the same stress. Did you start your new job, are you liking the outpatient environment? Some days I wish I was a school nurse, but its difficult to get into. Its very difficult to find the area of nursing that suits you best!
  2. Hi I am currently working as a new grad nurse in a CT SICU, I have worked for 1 year and am looking to transfer into research nursing. Could anyone tell me what a typical day as a research nurse is like, what is the stress level? Also any tips for preparing for an interview. Thanks!
