  1. hello all, could anyone recommend a net study guide? i see that there are a few available i'm just wondering is one better then the other? i'm 43 and hoping to start a nursing program in 2010. i'm also scared to death to do this . i did ok in school never really pushed myself and then became a mom at the age of 20. now 2 children later the oldest being 23 and the youngest 19 and each doing their own thing it's time for me now. any input would be appreciated. thank you kmh42
  2. Good Afternoon, As a 42 year mom of 2 I have finally decided to go school to become an LPN. I contacted my local career & tech center and had the info mailed to me. Since I have been out of school for 25 years the test seems pretty scary. I found the practice test online and have taken them. I did very well on the reading but blew the math. I really want to do this but I'm not sure how. They offer a program in Jan and July. My Questions Are: 1. Someone who has been out of school do they need to take courses through a college or could I self study? With help from books from the Libary. 2.They are asking for a copy of high school transcript . Is this necessary for someone out of school 25 years? Thank You kmh42
