Is there anyone else out there who really hates to precept, but still has to do it anyway? I really don't care for it at all. I think it is much easier to be in charge. I know have someone who is suppose to have alot of experiece, but acts like they don't. It is very frustrating.
  2. My hospital has ahd a weekend option for eight months. They do it in 16 week intervels. Must work 14 out of 16 weekends. But if hired for 96 hours must work 36. We hav an A and B list so we can alternated holidays

We either fill out a report sheet or call a voice mail report. We then call the floor and give them a 20 min warning and sent the patient or take them up ourselves. This has really helped in getting patients upstairs. We do call a nurse to nurse report on CCU or ICU patients

I work in an ER that sees 75,000 patients per year. We have had several cases of GHB. But most of our patients have ended up intubated. While we waited for the drug to wear off.
