  1. Thank you all for your input! Everyone's perspective will help me to make a decision. I feel a little greedy knowing that I am accepted into one and have a interview with the other. I kind of feel like I am in a ethical dilemma as it may ruin the chance for someone else to get an interview. Thanks again!
  2. I was recently accepted into U of M's CRNA program. I have a chance to go to another interview at U of D. Do you think I should go to U of D's interview?I have a $1000.00 deposit due at U of M by Jan. 10th. The interview for U Of D won't be until Jan 16th. Any advice?
  3. In the first semester, two of the classes that are required for the U of M program are the endocrine system and the renal system, I have pulled out my pathophysiology book and began to review those systems, so I will be better prepared for the class. Financially, I have been saving money for over a year now. We can make it off my husbands income, but it will be tight. I plan to apply for student loans after January 1st, 2004 to help pay for my classes. I am currently seeking scholarships, which will help.I guess that I will do whatever it takes to achieve my success. You know the old saying, it takes money to make money. The money is not the most important thing though, I have worked in the OR, and I know what to expect, that job combines my experiences, and I know that I will absolutely love it. What are you doing to prepare for the program? Any advice?
  4. Hi Maize&blue, I asked this question weeks ago without a reply, so I went to my interview raw without any clue what would happen. I only knew that I would be interviewed, I didn't know about the quiz, nor did I know about the trip to the OR. I must have been interviewed the same day that you did, I was accepted also! Congratulations! I am hoping every SRNA in our group will be supportive of one another as I think our work is cut out for us! Good luck again!
  5. It must be a great feeling to know that you have been accepted, now you can sit back and relax. I have applied to three CRNA programs in Michigan, So far, I have an interview with the first program I applied to, waiting to here from the other two. I consider myself lucky getting the interview as the early application process received forty applicants and they selected ten for the interview. I am a little nervous about the interview though, I am thinking positively and want to show up at the interview just being myself. Good luck to you!
  6. I will interviewing for a program in December, could anyone give tips about the questions asked in Michigan programs?
