  1. You should shadow both job options to get a real feel for them both ask ask ask questions and then go with your gut.
  2. Maybe my question should be more if there are any nurses out there working as both? I went to an information session at rad school and the instructor said that there is a need for both rad tech/ RN need. Is anyone out there doing both? What is your pay range? stress level ? How do you do function and where do you work? I suppose my first step should be to shadow a few RN 's then work there as an RN and decide from there if I would like to obtain more training. thank you all for your imput !!!:)
  3. I am currently a tele nurse w/ 6 years experience and am concidering going to rad school for 2 years for degree. It sounds like alot of you out there have chose to go on the job training route. Is it best for me to just transition to say cath lab and do on the job training or do most of you go back for formal training?
