This is just a note to all those nurses trying to get into anesthesia school. I became discouraged after reading everyone elses stats (GPA, GRE, ect) on this site and was sure that my 3.0 GPA and mediocre academic past (do mostly to surfing) would keep me from getting into a school. I recently had two interviews and to my surprise I was offered a position at both schools on the spot! In my opinion, The importance of the interview and good clinical experience cannot be overstated. Don't undersell yourselves. Have confidence in your skills and knowledge. Many schools understand that people often mature after college and can change. Well, anyway, I hope this gives a few people hope out there. Don't give up! You can do it!
