I am 99% certain that Surg Tech is profession I want to pursue. A lingering concern though... For those of you who have kids, how much flexibility do you have with your job when kids get sick and you know you have surgeries scheduled the next day? Thanks!
The local community college has about a year of pre recs and then there is about a 2 year wait list to get into the nursing program. I do not really want to wait 3 years to start the program. I have checked out a couple of private schools and they are running about 35K for everything. I am coming to the conclusion that time is more expensive than dollars.
I am trying to narrow down my list of prospective schools for an ADN degree and there seems to be a huge variance in cost from one to the next. I am just wondering how much you paid for your ADN degree, total (tuition, books, labs, everything). Thank you for your help! - Sarah
