  1. You can get invaluable information and even become a CFCN ...Certified Foot Care Nurse through the Wound Ostomy Continence Board. Also good info from http://www.hrsa.gov/leap/
  2. You can go to http://www.hrsa.gov/leap/ and look on the right of the page and can order packages of 10 free of charge. Each monofilament has a little place where you hold it and it has the diagragm on it. Plus this site has a wealth of information and even some free CEU online classes. The 10g is the one used for the average protective sensation screening. Hope this helps! Sheri
  3. I just recently got my CFCN certification and work at our local VA Hospital in a foot clinic. I am so excited to find this thread and be able to communicate with nurses who share my enthusiasm for this aspect of nursing. Roadnurse! I was fortunate enough to meet Laura Roehrick in October and attend her training for nursing foot care along with Teresa Kelechi. What an awesome pair of nurses and teachers! I'll be checking back often! PM me anytime anyone has some new info! Sheri in Missouri
