  1. Hi Shawn, I finally got a job after 8 months of looking and of course after being hired I started recieving more job offers, which makes me feel confident about the market. The pay here in the bay area is one of the highest in the nation i believe. If you are interested i Palo Alto the VA has a huge facility their and thats where i would apply, the pay is good and the benefits and retirement are the best. Good luck
  2. I have applied everywhere possible, hospitals, long term facilities, hospice, med. offices, VA (currently on Hiring freeze), it isn't very positive out there but there has to be something somewhere.
  3. Hello everyone my name is Jay and I am new to allnurses. I decided to become a member because of all the positive feedback I have read in other post. I recieved my LVN license in September and have had trouble finding a job that doesn't require at least a years worth of experience. I live in San Jose and am willing to work in any field of nursing presented to me. I would appreciate feedback anyone has for me. Thanx and I look forward to hearing from all of you.
