Well that sounds promising, do they accept nurses without experience? I saw a link somewhere here where you can search for employers in Canada but I can't seem to find it anymore. I'll call them when I find that link.

hi guys, I'm quite new to this thread, and as I see that there are already 100+ pages here, I don't have the energy anymore to search for my questions. So I'm going to ask this, I'm a June 2008 board passer currently with no experience yet. I'm setting my sights for australia as of now and I just wanted to know if the bridging programs there require any hospital experience? Or is the assessment different for each person? I'm just taking my step 1 tomorrow which is counseling in IDP. So any advice for me?

Follow up: I have a friend who did not take the Licensure Examination and went to Canada right after her graduation. She is now studying some subjects and completing duty hours in order to be a RN in canada. I was wondering if I can take that pathway, the difference is that she is already has an immigrant visa while I don't have a visa yet. Can I possibly study in Canada and then take the CRNE there with a student visa?

I read most of the stuff about Canada and Australia but i'm having a hard time comparing them as of now. Too much information. My credentials: Passed the PNLE in June 2008, No experience up to now. I set my goals for Canada but when I saw the requirements for Canada, there is an "employment reference" section in the Application form, this gave me doubts as I felt that having no experience would mess up my chances of going there. Also I read these steps: Register with the appropriate Nursing College and get your foreign credentials approved by the Nursing College. Take the Registration Examination. Find an employer - ideally one who will sponsor you through the Provincial Nominee Program. I don't have any relatives in Canada yet at the moment so I don't know how to possibly find an employer.

Hello, I am a RN from a good school in the Philippines. I know there were many posts somehow similar to this but I want a specific answer. I am currently choosing between Canada and Australia. Which of these two countries do you think is more advisable to go to? I have no hospital experience yet and I need some ideas. So guys, any thoughts?
