  1. I have been a RN for more than a few years and have worked for multiple hospitals. The hospital I currently work for is so understaffed it is not even funny. On any given day we are down at least 2 PCAs' just for our floor. We are almost always short staffed on the weekends with both RN's and PCA's. It was been brought to not only managements attention but also upper management, too. Does anyone have an idea who we can report this issue to? This is not just a staffing issue it is a patient safety issue. Patients are not getting the care they deserve and I would not want my family member coming to the hospital that I currently work for. I would appreciate any help with this. I currently work in the state of Ohio. Thanks, A concerned RN!
