Has anyone been given an acceptance email for Tacoma cc Winter 10?

I can tell you from my experience of trying to get in this past spring. They sent out all the acceptances the week they were suppose to and then the next week, if you didnt get in, thats when you get your letter by email. They make you have stomach cramps for alomost 2 weeks and then stomp on all your hope with your denial email. I think the lowest they let in is 3.99.

This lottery will atleast be fair. Just because some of you do not work and have families or just plain don't have a life can get 3.9 or 4.0 doesn't mean you are going to be a good nurse. It's kind of creepy that just because you have a 4.0 you can become a nurse and take care of people. Maybe your all book smarts and have no empathy, sympathy, or common sense. They need to interview! I think they finally realize that just because you have the best grades does not make you qualifed exactly. The whole letting 20 people in a year to get in these stupid schools is ******* ridiculous! This world needs nurses, and yet there are so many people that would love to do this work can't. The whole thing makes me want to throw up in tin foil and eat it. If you can guess what movie I got that from you get a prize! The prize is the tin foil! BOO YA!

No, my news is the same. I was so close but no cigar. I had a 3.5. Sorry to hear that you didn't get in either. I'm going to keep truckin along and see what happens. Thanks for keeping me posted and hopefully we will both get in soon.

Thats funny because I was thinking the same thing! So I didn't give anyone my name and blocked my phone #. haha!

Probably not on the weekend. I called the school and they gave me a phone number to someone and her voicemail said "If you are wondering about your acceptance, check your email." So that scares me a little. But then it also said "If you dont hear anything by the 18th, give them a call." I'm wondering if maybe they are taking care of the full time students first. I have a million scenarios in my mind. I'm still trying to be hopeful.

Still nothing on this end. That is pretty messed up that we have to be sick all week knowing that we find out sometime during the week and then friday comes and NOTHING.
