  1. As a single parent, my income will be cut to nothing. I just don't know if it'll be doable... although I am not giving up yet.
  2. The problem is the way "financial need" is determined. It is based upon my salary this year while I am a working 5th grade teacher. So, although I won't have a job while going through the program, I make too much this year to qualify for grants this upcoming school year.
  3. I've applied to the program and am also waiting to hear the outcome of my application. I too am expecting to hear something within the next two weeks. If I am accepted, my fear is being able to afford the program. I am a single mother of two who will have to go through the program completely on loans. I am afraid that I will not qualify for all the loans that I will actually need in order to continue supporting myself and my boys do to the fact that we are unable to work while completing the program.
