Hello, I want to ask you guys if there realy is nursing shortage these days. when I was starting my nursing program, people said there is a huge nursing shortage, so once you graduate, you will have chances to pick where you want to go, not the hospital picks you.... which means,,, it is really easy to get a job for nurses. but these days, when I see my friends who are recently graduated from universities.. they are having hard time getting a job they graduated from wellknown school in nyc or they've been maintaining good gpa that they were even on news paper. some of them graduated last summer but still dont have a job. why is it like this??????
