    I crossed from being active duty in the Air Force to USPHS a year ago. With USPHS I had a say so in where I got orders. My Air Force experience was mostly positive, but I did not have a say on my job at my base. I was cleared in each category for USPHS (physical, nursing boards, security clearance) and then I applied for my job. I applied for two different jobs and it turned out they both pursued me as well. In the end I chose where I would accept an assignment. I have no regrets for my decision to cross from active duty Air Force to USPHS.
