  1. I've currently had one year experience as a nurse at a acute/subacute nursing rehab center and currently full-time corrections nurse in the Bay Area, married with a baby on the way. I'm pursuing UOP Masters of Science Nursing for online classes only but if I have to attend an in-class lecture I could still do that. My bachelors is from overseas and doing this so I can become a Navy Officer for the Nurse Corps. Things I'd like to know. -How transfer of credits? -Tuition per class, semester, credit? -Good enough school? -How long it'll take months/years? -Any other places to recommend?
  2. Thanks to our colleagues who've replied, to the other question, yes i have my license, I appreciate the posts, as I've seen and asked for the past week, I hear the trend now is to work in Skilled Nursing Facilities "Nursing Homes" as to working in a major hospital since there are no fresh grad programs available. So I guess my new question would be what are the names of those Nursing Homes?
  3. Hi, New here and was wondering if anyone knew any of the names of hospitals or nurse care facilities that are allowing fresh grad BSN and NCLEX passers to work in their hospitals. Mostly in the area of East Bay, such as Oakland down to Milpitas, San Jose and to Sunnyvale. I'm originally from Hawaii and not from this area. Any named facility would be fine, I just want to start working and practice.
