  1. Hi, I am not a nurse but I am thinking about nursing school. Before I will try to get to the program I thought I would like to spend a day with a "real" nurse in the hospital to see if I would like it. I love to help people and I think I am good at it. My question is: Is it possible to spend a day with a nurse even if you are not a nurse or you are not in the nursing school yet? I live in Northwest Suburbs and I would like to try it in the closest hospital which is Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village. Is there any nurse on this forum who works there and would help me? If not, I could try other hospitals too. PS.: Sorry for my mistakes. English is my second language and I am still working on it. Btw, is there any Polish-speaking nurse here? :)
