you need to interview well. you need to score at least 1200 on the gre. they are not impressed by a "magnet hospital" and you need to learn everything you can. you should shadow and take notes. you should take a couple grad level classes, like stats or something. do the ccrn thing. aacn will send you a bunch of journals every month. read them like the bible because you will need to know all of the current issues in nursing when you go to interview.
