I have really tried to relax this week and be with the kids and puppies (bassett hound) My father in law has his surgery for parotid cancer this week it is stage 3 so not a good prognosis so everyone please keep us in your prayers. and NewGN88. you can change your name to NewRN88. CONGRATULATIONS NEWGN88:yeah: I know you must be so happy.. I think I would just go jump off the roof into my pool if i Pass. lolo. I am so very happy for you that is such an accomplishment. Hello everyone:cry:. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, I got my results and I did not pass:(!! The print out I received so that I was near the passing average in everything?? There is just so much to study and this is so overwhelming. I will take this again in 45 days. It is my mission for the year 2009 to pass this test. So I will keep trying. The little white envelope came in the mail Friday.. I will keep you all posted. And congratulations on passing I am very happy for you:yeah:. If you have any tips let me know.. Thank you Tammy

The waiting is about to kill me too, I came out of there flat lined lol. I am praying for both of us we are going to claim this together and PASS ok. keep me posted. I will be praying for you.:wshgrt:

Hello, I just took my boards Friday here in Alabama and I am awaiting results. I graduated in 1989 and failed boards 3 times prior and I have been dealt alot of bad cards in life. I was young when I graduated nursing school 19 had a 2 year old I worked as a single mom and put myself through nursing school. I lost my daughter to an inoperable brain stem tumor in 1998 she was 12. We were St. Judes patients ( an awesome place by the way). Anyway I am married now with 2 beautiful healthy children 12 and 4, lost my precious granny in August, I was blessed to be able to take some time off from my present job that I have been @ for 11 years to spend time with her. She was always an inspiration to me she told me 3 times this past summer " You know if you wasn't so dumb you could pass that test"!! and she would just laugh, so after she passed I started picking up books and studying enrolled in the Petersons online which by the way helped alot, learned all my labs, and sudied exam cram for these past 4 months. My husband lost his job the day before thanksgiving, and my father in law was diagnosed with parotid cancer.. many other misfortunes have happened to long to list and sorry for the long post. However it is my goal and my passion to be a nurse and that is what I have planned for 2009 to take this blood,sweat and tear test until I pass. So I will post when I find out and by the way my test cut off @ 205 so not sure if that is good or bad but I have faith in the good Lord above that if its my time then I am waiting. I ask for all your prayers and thank you for listening to my story. It made me feel better to tell you all. oH, I am sorry as usual i misread the thread anyway i am stressed to the max i took my board on friday and havent heard anything, i have got to pass and want to pass as this is my 3rd try and it cut off at 205.

Alabama does not participate in quick results if they do i am missing something
