hi. I am looking for some help or direction. I am a working mother with a 11 year old and 2 year old. I want to go to school to become a nurse but I have to work. All the nursing programs in my area (Naperville, Illinois) are during the day well at least all the labs are during the day usually between 9am and 3pm. I work 9-5 and cannot afford to stop working to pursue my dreams. Are their any weekend classes that will allow me to get the education I need to become a nurse (RN)? Are their any schools that have night classes with night labs? Are their online schools that will allow me to become a RN? Are their any accelerated schools where I can become a RN in 2 years? Please help me I have always wanted to become a nurse but I had a child at a young age and just never was able to take the time to go back to school but now I am married and want a better life for my family and I.
