  1. i just found out i passed!!! i'm officially a rn ... i had 75 questions and to tell you honestly all i remember was that i had 2 sata, some pharm, some delegation, and the rest felt like they were knowledge and comprehension based questions... i was pretty calm for the most part during the test... but no one ever prepares you for that blue screen... you know the one that says,"thank you, your exam is complete". i freaked ! there was no way it would stop at 75 for me... all the smart people in my class can stop at 75, not me, i'm just not that smart. i was prepared to go for 85 to 120 questions... i left there in tears... to make things worst, since i started studying (which was in novemeber), i've been coming to allnurses.com and read that 75 questions can go either way... and read every blog about everyone who thought the failed, failed, or is taking the nclex for the 4th or 5th time... bad idea... so you can imagine my horror when the computer just shut off...:heartbeat but by the grace of god and a strong support system i passed... so to all of you who just took the test, hang in there... it'll be okay... waiting is the worst part of it... but once you see you passed it was all worth it... and for those of you preparing... believe in yourself, because in the end, it doesn't matter how smart you were in nursing school or how many question everyone else got on the nclex... it all comes down to you... your biggest enemy in all this is yourself... god helps those who help themselves... so do your part and he will take care of the rest....
  2. hello, i'm really sorry to hear that your school didn't explain who would be responsible for sending your transcripts... over at the college i attended it was the students' responsibility to order their transcripts and forward it to the board of nursing. it is a relatively simple process just head to you admission and records to fill out the paperwork and pay a couple of bucks. i believe there is also an option to expedite the service. hope this info helps...
