i actually just signed a lease at the windsor hotel. it is an actual hotel, but they also rent out unfurnished studios and one bedrooms....it is a little pricey, but very convenient, safe and nice. it is within walking distance of hahnemann. its located at the block of ben franklin parkway, arch and 16th i rented a studio with a balcony, utilities and parking (24/7 valet) and it is 1500 a month including all of that. it makes me sick to think that i am paying that much but like i said i feel safe there, convenient location and you have all the amenities of a hotel (valet parking, gym, pool, etc) if you need anymore info about it let me know....the lady said there are actually a lot of drexel med/nursing students that rent there... i found craigslist to be helpful but really liked the location of this play (my goal was to be within walking distance of the hospital)

i had questions about those two things as well. i emailed kelly and she got right back to me. apparently once you do the background check online and the drug test at a quest diagnostics, the paper work gets sent right to her.....that is what she told me atleast? how did you document your cpr/first aid certification? i just made copies of my certification cards, do you think that's ok?

xlford......i hope my certification is good...it is through american heart association and expires in may of 2009 , i begin the program in march 2009 do you think ill be ok? who do i talk to about this? maybe you could help me out..... thank you

there is an immunization sheet that is online....i received it in the new student packet along with a couple of other things about financial aide, housing and that kind of thing. i'm pretty sure you can print one of these online at www.drexel.edu/ch then that should tell you everything you need with your doctors signature. as far as the cpr/first aid....i had no idea that we were suppose to be certified (i guess i should have assumed)...i luckily just graduated from college and took a cpr/first aid class and still have my certification. it runs out in may of 2009....i am certified through the american heart association. i'm sure there are probably certification at your local YMCA or maybe even online? hopefully this helps....

so i have no clue about the uniforms....news to me ha can you update me? did you buy them online?? and then as far as CPR/First Aid....i mean i was certified in college and it says on my certification card that i am good through may of 2009... have you gotten any info at all from the school? the only thing i really got was stuff about getting immunizations which i did already send in but need to get my PPD done again because i got that over a year ago. anyways...let me know. thank you!

hey everyone.. i am also beginning the ace program this spring, march 09. im nervous as well as excited along with everyone else....was just wondering if anyone has any idea when orientation actually is? classes begin march 30th correct?? let me know if you have any info that i don't have, i feel clueless! haha thank you!
