  1. Maybe you should read the paper this morning, lovely article about Kaplan Vista campus teacher getting arrested for sexually molesting students. I don't know what to tell you, Liberty Bell. I hope you haven't already signed on the dotted line. Don't mean to be a downer, and I apologize for not responding to your thread earlier. I don't know what else to say without lying to you or sugar coating anything. The bottom line is this, if you want to make it work, you will, regardless of any adversary or obstacles that present themselves to you during your schooling. Best of luck to you, sincerely. Nursing is an amazing field.
  2. I am in the Feb 09 class right now, getting ready to graduate in Feb '10 =)
  3. I agree with JStylist. Do yourselves a favor and stay on the wait list for ANY other nursing program other than this school. It has been unhelpful in every aspect of my education thus far. STAY ON THE WAIT LIST and save yourselves a nightmare of a year as well as your $31,000!!
  4. Awesome! Good job girl! I will see you at orientation!!
  5. Hey Jstylist, just thought I would let you I know I am in the same boat. I don't have any pre-req's either and I would like to just get in and get done, so I can start working. Ultimately my goal is RN, but that doesn't have to be right away. When do you take your HESI test? Who is your advisor at Kaplan? I am so excited for classes to start!
  6. I did take the HESI, I bought the study guide and it really helped. There is no A&P on the test but you do need to know your basic algebra, fractions, etc. Also the vocab was a lot harder than I thought it would be, so make sure you study up on that. Get your roman numerals down as well. Good luck, let me know how you do! You CAN use caluclators on this test.
  7. Hey everyone, I'm a newbie here on the site and was wondering if anyone else out there is starting at Kaplan (in Vista) on 2/16/09 for the LVN program. Thanks so much!
