  1. I recently attended a peritoneal dialysis class in our hospital. The instructor told us that PD pts. should be in a private room for risk of infection - generally they are admitted with infection, anyway; or can be roomed in with another pt with same diagnosis and getting PD. We normally admit pts on CAPD; if there's a private room available, it gets assigned to the pt. If there's none, pt goes to a 2-bed room; room is not blocked and ended up with a roommate. I need some clarification. Are they supposed to be in single room? Thank you.
  2. This is a med-surg unit... had a code at around 6:45pm, lasted for almost 2hrs ... nurses were all drained, but stayed for another 2hrs to restock the cart. In your facility, which shift restocks if the cart is opened due to code?
