  1. Hi guys, Tomorrow will be my last day working as a critical care nurse in a step down icu. It was my first RN job thay I worked in for a little over 2 years. Next week I will begin my training as a labor and delivery nurse!!!!! I have always wanted to work in L&d any pointers/tips or just words if advice???
  2. hi i work as a pca at sisters hospital. And yes it is a solid place to work im not sure exactly but i think the rns start around 23 an hour plus if you get called in or asked to work an extra shift you get an extra 10 and hour plus if its over your 75 hours your get time and a half. so not to shabby if you ask me.
  3. I am a nursing assistant/ pca in buffalo new york and i came in with no health care experience at all (transfered from the cafe). However i do know we hire nursing students as pca 1,2,3 or 4 for each year you are in school. The pcas 1-4 usually float around where needed and just basically help out becuase they can perform certian duties that normal pcas cannot so they are called from floor to floor.
