Couple of my friends had to do the test called PBDS or BKAT at other facilities, but they were asked to resign since they couldn't make it with passing score. Thanks!

Hi SimoneB, Very happy to hear from you. It looks like you did great job in today interview, and I am sure for your next as well. I think you can try to contact HR and ask for ICU interview spot. I have known people who were directly hired in ICU without ICU practicum experience. I am going to have interview with Burn ICU manager. Actually, I am a bit nervous since I have no interview prep. -- would you mind to elaborate more in detail regarding interview questions that you are able to recall? I am surprised there are plenty of folks who are from CA. I am located on UVA area though. Anyway, please keep posted and be in touch with us.

How long for the process starting from your interview date until job offer? etc. ...Please share your recent experience. We are about to have upcoming interview at UVA as well. I totally agree with you. I applied to USC, UCLA, and White Memorial Medical Center (WMMC) at CA, but NO call so far. It is truly understandable that the job market at CA is awful. I am not sure new grad pay at UVA, but I have heard around $21. Pay scale is generally based on economic area. But wait a minute, we have no choice because we need to get our footstep into the hospital setting, right? ...I chose ICU settings which are my unit's preference. I will find out more in detail after calling HR by tomorrow. I believe you are going to have interviews prior to mine, so please share your interview experience. Thank you for your early interest. Things might change more not less in next couple years. However, we will keep posted. I applied to UVA RN Residency program as BSN with RN licensure. Hope this helps! Good luck for your career search.
