  1. You won't have any trouble transferring state to state. As for Rn school, you have to work as an LPN for a year and then you can test out of some courses. At least that's my understanding. It doesn't have anything to do with the school you went to so much as it has to do with you being a LPN. I'd think about where you wanted to work. If you don't want to work nursing homes, LPN might not be right for you since that's where the most money seems to be. Then do CNA and you won't have all the debt that you'll have with delta. Personally, I'm doing LPN and then getting my RN. I didn't take out too much money for school and I think that working as a LPN will help with getting my RN. Also, not getting accepted to my RN program of choice helped with that decision. I'm really happy with the way things have worked out. Good luck!

That's good to know. The last posts about Delta said mentioned some hospitals were reluctant to hire their grads. I believe it was posted two years ago, hence why I was looking for a little but more current information. I know they make you take a placement test. How was it for you? My only real concern would be the math portion.

I'm thinking about applying to the lpn program at delta college in baton rouge. I know it doesn't have as good of a reputation as olol, but isn't it pretty decent? Any input is really appreciated!
