  1. Congrats on your acceptance to the program. Do you have to take NUR200 first? If so, you will like the class it's a lot of material- but doable. i have to reapply to Nur201 so we may be in the same graduating class, if I am readmitted. Learn to manage your time and set aside plenty study time and you shoould do well also invest in nclex type question review book. Let me know if I can help. Good luck to you.
  2. I got in the first time, not sure about cut off requirements I say try anyway. Have you taken the compass yet? Remember you need that as well. I didn't pass first semester. But, overall same climate as other nursing programs. Just go into it seriously, like you would a campus program, as it requires alot of dedication with your time, stay ahead.Get rock solid on dosage calculations you have to test twice if you need Nur 200 or once if you dont before moving into third semester. No matter what they say study, study everything anyway. Hope this helps sorry for the delay.
  3. I would go ahead and take the NCLEX here, you can get your license in other states after you pass boards. I think there is a fee and a waiting period. Traveling nurses are a good resource to give you more details on license transfer. If you ever decide to come back then you'll already have your license. Ultimately, that is a personal decision though. If you know for certain you won't work in Alabama then its not necessary to test here. Also, contact AL BON they have info on transfers. Good Luck and Congrats
  4. Thanks for responding abracadabra. Glad to hear something positive. I'm pretty self motivated- actually I work better that way. BTW I'm track I so I have to take Nur 200, any input? I guess I need to find a flexi-pool so I can get ready for clinicals by May.
  5. I was wondering if anyone is attending or has previously attended this program. I'm trying to find more information on the program. Any input would help. I start Nur200 in Jan. and was just wondering how its gonna go. If you've attended Nur 200 elsewhere I'd love to hear about how its focused etc...
