Hi I am currently in the FNP program at GWU. I took four classes last semester and worked 3 twelve hour shifts per week and kept a 3.9 GPA. It kicked my butt but it can be done. I think it is all in how you apply yourself. I think you would be fine in the ANP program and continuing to work. Good luck Marsha
Just wondering what everyone thinks about pregnant nurse taking care of patients in isolation. The hospital I work at has just changed their policy. Pregnant nurses are at no higher risk than non-pregnant nurses and will be taking care of these patients as well. There are quite a few unhappy co-workers.
