  1. I am extremely interested in getting into OB Nursing one day, but what I cannot find out is, what other types of nurse(s) or other related positions are there that consult with the patient as well as assist with the care and feeding of the newborns or are these two different positions? I have ideas on the level of responsibility I would like to take on, once I have all of my education, but I need some help from those of you that work on the OB unit to tell me and give me some, if you would, brief description of these responsibilities. And, what about a clinical associate, or nurse? What are their responsibilities?
