Goin' crazy wanna come along??
:balloons: Take a leave of absence and get some rest and tackle your taxes. You can do this by yourself and you will be proud of the accomplishment. Are you over-spending? Go on a "money diet", quit spending, pay everything off and you will feel the burden lift off of your shoulders. Of course Im making an assumption that you might be in debt, but hey Ive been there! If thats not the problem, you might tackle the problem in the same way. Get away from what it is that is bringing you down. Find that one thing that you love to do and take small steps to get you back to it. Good luck my friend!

Are you on pay when giving or recieving report?
Our nurses clock in when they hit the door and clock out after report, all paid time. I wouldnt give an employer the time of day that expects me to work for free. I put in for "No lunch" if I cant leave the building ! You must be stronger, I watch our admininstration pull the wool over the eyes of nurses all day long. And I see them smirk when they can get away with it too. Good luck.

Professional in scrubs?

Well put! And then to think we have to wear the colors of our so called "the best health care system in the world". So, low pay and representation of a system out of control is what I have until I decide to make the change.............................best wishes all :)- Divorce & Nursing
I've thought about the possibility of my 2 divorces being from stress of nursing. But actually they were not. People change at different rates. If those changes are positive then that makes all the difference. When the change is negative, I'm outa here......just a thought. Peace.- Nurses pay
Christine..........wake up from this dream of being a nurse. You have an MBA? I know pharmacists who dream of that title and are working furiously toward it. If you want to help, get into health care administration and make working conditions better. Then volunteer at another hospital to quench that "I wanna help fever" you have. Your time and influence will be much appreciated. Good luck if you choose nursing, youll need it! Wishing you the best. :) - Nurses pay
