FYI..the Phipps building is NOT the same building as the employee health building. Still haven't figured out the rest of the info, lol, but that's a start!

Just wondering...my schedule says to be there @ 7:30 a.m. and to go to the Phipps building. This is the same building we did our Employee Health appointment at also correct? I also noticed there was a "Spring Schedule" which varies somewhat from what my NM mailed me. So confused...hope I go to the correct place tomorrow. :/

Well, this will be the first "real" job that I've worked since about 9 years ago! I think just the adjustment of going from "stay-at-home mom" to "working mom" will be quite a change for me!

I got the packet from Nurse Recruitment yesterday after I did my employee health screen and it gives a pretty clear guide on what NOT to wear. It basically says no jeans, no t-shirts with derogatory slogans, no flip-flops, no sandals, etc...you get the picture. I am going to wear dress pants and a dress blouse or shirt also. Getting excited, but a little nervous too :)

Hi! Are there any others out there doing orientation @ JHH on the 28th of November? Also, for the ones who've already started orientation, what should I wear? The letter just says "dress professionally" but a professional nurse does wear scrubs, lol

Hi :) I was also hired recently. I have a question that perhaps one of you can answer, since many of you have completed the steps required and are getting ready to orient. I received my offer letter last Thursday but I have not gotten the email with instructions for my two visits to the JHH health office. Should I contact them again, you think? I don't want to be a bother, but it feels like they forgot to send me the link...

Hey! How long did it take you to get the email with all the instructions in it about the health screening??? I'm trying to make travel arrangements and I can't buy my airline tickets until I know when I need to do this. I accepted the offer yesterday morning.

LOL, yes that's true. I start orientation on the 28th of November. You're earlier in the month, right? I kinda' wish we were in the same orientation...I feel like I know you now, lol! Yes, it definately feels surreal. I am excited, but so nervous at the same time. I am a big worry-wart by nature, anyway.
