  3. hy there ! my name is ciobanu andrei and i have a bsc in nursing. i`m from romania, but i want to come next year in uk to apply for a postgraduate diploma course at city university of london, and after that for a msc. my dream it`s to became a theatre nurse, but unfurtunately i have a problem. i`m hcv+, on treatment at this moment. if i will remain hcv rna negative after the treatment, i can apply for a theatre nursing job. i sent an email to hep. c trust, and thei told me that: "if you continue to have hep c, then any job where you may be carrying out "exposure prone procedures" - eg as a surgeon or theatre nurse then you would be prevented from working." can you give me some examples about nursing jobs where you don`t must to do exposure prone procedures? i want to see what options do i have . please help me ! ps: please escuse my english .... hope you will understand !
  4. LOL Leulle ! Thanks a million ! I`m a bit sad because i have this b***y bug ! I want so mutch to work like a theatre nurse in UK, but i`m not sure if I`m allow to. I sent yesterday a few emails to Occupational health department from fome UK Hospitals, but i`m still waiting their repply. If somebody else from this forum have any ideas, advices, please a lot don`t hesitate to tell me. Or, if somebody just want to speak with me about HCV, or treatment, just sendme a PM. I know I lot of things about HCV and interferon treatment. I`m on my 23 treatment week now, from 44

  6. 5cats, Thanks a lot for you answer. Now, i`m on treatment for HCV with interferon and ribavirin. After treatement, if I will clear the virus, do you think I can work like a theatre nurse? I`m not from UK, i`m from Romania, but i do all my best with my english and i really hope that you understand. So .... i`m a 24 years old male, from Romania , country from EU. I`m in Romania at this moment, but i want to come in UK next year. I have a BSc Degreea in Nursing, and i want to come in UK next year, to apply for a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing at London City University, and after that for a MSc in Nursing. Buttttttttttttt.... i have a problem. I was diagnosted with Hepatitis C positive (HCV+) 2 years ago. Now, at this moment I`m on treatment with Pegasys and Ribavirin. And my question is : Please can you lett me know if a person who is Hepatitis C positive can work like a nurse in UK? Please lett me know if you can, because i don`t have any ideea what to do and I really want to come in UK to work like a THEATRE NURSE ! Thanks a lot, and please escuse me again for my english ! I really hope that you understand my english !
