I'm 19 years old and after switching majors multiple times I have my AA degree in nursing. I have to options I have a GPA above the requirements for each of my universities BSN in Nursing programs and I've done the facts.org AA Transfer Evaluation to see my standing. However in my switching majors phase I applied and got in the AS in Generic RN Nursing program at my college. I failed a class in process 1, came back, and failed a class in process 2. I can not reenter my college's nursing program because after failing 2 nursing classes you're out and can only reenter after obtaining an LPN license. I also retook some of my classes when doing my AA degree. My questions: Are students with prior nursing AS degree credit failures permitted? I successfully passed three nursing classes - 7 credits total I failed two nursing classes- 5 credits total. One of the classes 2 credits I retook and passed successfully. I failed pharmacology twice. Are colleges likely to look at the prerequisites reattempts? I retook 2 science classes. Anatomy & Physiology Lab only first attempt was an F second was a B Microbiology without the lab only first attempt was a D second attempt was a B I want to retake my Chemistry without the lab in which I got a C and my Microbiology Lab only in which I got a C. My options: 1) LPN to RN Apply to sheridan technical center or mcfatter technical center lpn programs (the next available ones in 2011). In 2013 apply to my college's LPN to RN. Then later do the RN to BSN 2) BSN Apply to one of the following colleges and hope I get into the program with my previous failures and prerequisite reattempts. I'd like to know all opinions I'm feeling burned out and really depressed about my situation.
