Thank you for your info, pinkberry77. I am waiting and waiting. I am worrying so much.. I assume that you have a good GPA, because you were invited to an interview for fall term! why didn't you apply to other schools? My cumulative GPA is just little above 3.0. Maybe this is the big reason that I was selected for a waitlist. Do you know how many people who were on the waitlist got into the program? hyu.... I am just praying everyday. this is the only way that I can do now.. Also, I am looking for nursing school outside of California.. I am getting an information about Creighton University, now... becasue I heard that you could get into the program even though you have a below 3.0 gpa. WheresCara, The CUI BSN program is only 12-month long, 3semesters. You are required to take two classes(theology/phillosophy) at CUI a semester before you get into the program. You can go to CUI website and check the course schedule again under nursing program. Good luck!

I have prayed for a long time and I am little tired. :) I truly believe that God will answer for our prayers. Hello, alizard! This is Kim :) There were only three males at the interview. (I hope I counted right) alizard, I want you to apply one more time only if you did not get an interview chance. I was in the same situation you are in now... for fall 2009 term. I was depressed, didn't know what to do. However, I prayed continuously.. And I re-wrote my personal statement for this term. I was very honest on my personal letter... Your grade and gpa have to be good enough, however Concordia university is a Christian school. They also look at your personality and personal aspects as well.(in my opinion) Cheer up and pray... until the God answers for your prayers. Best of luck to you. Kim

It's good to hear that you did good on your interview. :) I was not satisfied with my answers for some questions. I think I was too nervous and could hear my heart beats. haha. I liked everybody in there, some were very impressive to me. Let's pray together! and Let's keep our faith in God.

People who did not get an interview e-mail, let's smile!!! There are lots of schools we can re-apply! I already did. Let's help each other~!! I will visit a new nursing school in L.A. tomorrow. I assumed that MSMC get a new director for the nursing program this year. Therefore, I think the way they select or look at the applicant is slightly different from last previous cohorts! I think the grade is the matter for MSMC, too. Oh!! Ms. Tanesha, assistant, was extremly nice. I won't forget about her in my life. She encouraged me and tried to help me out. Let's smile~~!! AND people who had an interview already, GOOD LUCK~!!

Thank you nani! I think I know now.... They had lots of qualified candidates, and sending interview mails to candidates who they are interested in. It makes me so depress.... I think I have to make my own plan to find other ways. Good luck to everyone!! I really want people who got the interview mails get into the program!! Have a great thursday!
