  1. Also, everyone talks about taking Kaplan, anyone esle taking a different NCLEX review program? It seems Kaplan is a major hit? I am not taking Kaplan and feel very left out?
  2. I also agree on everyone else taking it and we are left in the panic zone!
  3. I just signed up today to take it Feb. 18th, it was the closest time I could take it. I am very nervous, need lots of support and scraed to death!!! I have been studying Suzanne's plan and the NCSBN website and Drexel! Hope that my studying will be enough, I have been studying for about 26 days now! Nervous, nervous!
  4. Iam taking the Nclex in about 3 weeks, I have been doing the NCSBN website questions and also took a review class from Drexel that was offered through my school, it alos has a Q and A bank that I have been doing. I am reading the prioritization book. Did you complete the whole program through NCSBN? I am hoping that if I review the Q and A banks through them and Drexel that I will be OK? I hear so much about Kaplan, sometimes I wonder if the NCSBN program is going to work? I just need reassurance, I am sooo nervous!:)
  5. If you are moving to West Jordan you should try to go to SLCC, they have a brand new beautiful health sciences campus in West Jordan. SLCC has a program with the University of Utah, you can work for the U and go through the program at SLCC, there is no waiting list for this program. I don't know if there is a waiting list still for traditional applicants at SLCC, but when your prereqs are done go get on the list as soon as possible. I highly recommend the SLCC program, I am a graduate from this program, it is the best in the state. NCLEX pass rates of 95%!:wink2:
  6. The University of Utah and SLCC now have a unified program, meaning that if you work for the U, you can go through the SLCC program. It is a different program than the traditional SLCC program, it is organized by SLCC but you work for the U. The load is lighter because they make you work 20 hours a week and you owe them I think 2-3 years when you are done, but there is no waiting list and SLCC has a great nursing program!
  7. I am so happy to hear that there are people passing the NCLEX. Congratulations! I am also so thankful that I found this website, I will be taking the NCLEX soon and I am so glad that I found additional resources and most of I am able to gain knowledge and information from other nursing students! I know now that I am not alone in this!
  8. Congratulations! Did you feel that the NCSBN review course helped alot? I am trying to decide on a review course? Would like to know what helped you the most and what diden't as far as studying. Thanks!
  9. Thanks Debbie, i will look into getting that book. Also has anyone had any success with the NCSBN NCLEX review course?
  10. What is the Prioritization, Delegation & Assignment book? I am graduating next week and would like to start studying for the NCLEX, would this book be helpful?
  11. I have noticed that also! The Exit HESI was pretty difficult, I found that I was lost halfway through the exam. Where do you suggest getting the best NCLEX style questions?
  12. I have thought about doing Kaplan, but I figured I would first try to study with the Saunder's book that I have first before spending $500 on the Kaplan review. I already have a Drexel review course with my school. I hope that is enough to get me to pass 1st time. Thanks for the feedback!:nuke:
  13. Thank you, I am going to try Suzanne's plan for sure.
  14. How do you study questions from that website?
  15. What is the NCSBN website?
