Hi, new to the forum. I've been searching this whole site, but I can't seem to find my answer. I'm wondering if it matters that a school has low NCLEX-RN passing rates. I've been done with my prereqs and I've been applying to places and I'm wondering if you should judge a school on their board exams. I don't wanna go to a nursing school that'll make me a poor nurse. I live in California if that makes any difference. Oh yeah, and the passing rate for this school is around 65-70%. Is that bad? Thanks.

I joined this forum just to get in on this post. I too would like to know about the nursing program there. I'm from San Diego too and I'm applying for Fall and I just found out how low the scores were. Did some googling after seeing this post and they got a new dean for nursing so maybe the test scores will be better? Here's the post. My girlfriend has family there and they say its their best program but how is their best program producing such poor results? I wonder if its worth it instead of being waitlisted or denied at other programs(that is if I even get accepted here.) I've always been a good test taker so will it even matter?
