    DRXRX posted a topic in First Year After Licensure
    I am a new nurse in NC. I will start by saying that nursing is my passion. I unfortunately have run into a monster of a problem. My orientation to my Unit was cut short(they felt i would not be happy on the unit long term). I was told to go to a med surg floor to get my experience and that in 6 mo to a year She would gladly take me back. Since I have left that floor i was not able to transfer because of the abruptness of her decision, and I have not been able to gain employment at a whole other facility because of something that has clearly been said by my previous employer. I truly feel like she attached or said something that is making me unattractive to other potential employers, but I don't know how to prove it. Can anyone help.
