Anyone from Seminole Community College?
Hello, I'm 2 semesters from applying to SCC's RN program.. I have a couple more pre reqs to complete but I plan on completing them by the end of this years fall term (dec.). Then I have to apply in april 2010, what are my chances? I've had all A's in gen psych, english, microbio, sociology, humanities and all the other really basic stuff. I haven't taken any anatomy but I had a college professor who also worked at my high school to teach a&p and I've never learned more in my life, so I'm not worried. I heard that there is technically no waiting list, just you're in or your out.. is that true? How many seats are available for the day program? Please just share any of your experiences Thanks in advancee

CNA OR PCT questionss
Thank you whispera for the response. I live in the orlando area of florida, I thought I had included that. But yeah, I really hope what you said holds true because its the only way I can work. And if not id have to apply for the evening/weekend track which begins only in spring terms, so id have to wait a whole year instead one summer semester

CNA OR PCT questionss
Hello, I'm very new to this site so please bare with me. All replies are appreciated, I'm just trying to get used to this website (online on a pda). Anyway, I am currently a pre nurse student who is completing the pre reqs for the rn program at scc. I plan on taking the c n a course in the spring of 2010 while I wait to apply in april for the rn program that fall. I know I can work full time all summer once I have my certificate but once I start the day track..... I won't be able to. Is anyone aware of any part time evening shiftss as a nursing assistnat or a patient care tech? Because I really want to gain as much clinical experience as possible while I wait

A pre nurse student, help? Advice? Anything
Ok so fall 2008 I started my pre reqs seminole community college (I just graduated high school 6/2008). My first semester I completer english I, gen psychology, sociology and biology. This semester I am in microbiology, dev psych and humanities. I plan on taking anatomy over the summer and will finish off all my pre reqs in the fall 2009. So that's where my confusion lies. As of right now I plan on applying for the rn program in spring so I can start fall 2010....... but I'm scared I will have to wait for a long time. But I've considered to just take the can course so at least I can get some hands on experience while I wait. What should I do? I could do the lpn program then the bridge but id have to work as an lpn for 1000 hours in order to start the rn bridge. I have 2 options and I really am confused
