  1. Funny we were just discussing this in class today....I heard that we will have to attend if class is in session on the 19th. MCI does not observe holidays like some of the other schools.
  2. I'm in too!!!! Congrats everyone!!!!!:wink2:
  3. Oh well...until then :stone. Good luck to you!!!
  4. I guess we have to wait another day...do you know if they are calling or sending out letters?
  5. I haven't heard anything yet...the anticipation is killing me!
  6. NN is pretty much saying the same thing, provided they did the rest of the interviews over the holidays!!! Hoping to hear something soon!!!
  7. You may want to ask your counselor. I'm taking my last RN prereq now and I still have my final interview to do. From my understanding you can go from RN to LPN if you don't pass your RN classes, but I don't know about the other way around.
  8. That's great...I heard (thru the grapevine) that more applicants are trying to get into days than nights. I should have my interview beginning of January when I'm almost finished with my Chem class. Good luck to you!!!
  9. I am in the chemistry class now. My advisor told me that I will not have my interview until half-way thru the class...I'm ready to get the waiting over with already!!!
  10. Hey all!! NN days!! The wait is killing me. I'm currently on my last pre-req!!
  11. Hey Coastie!! I am currently taking my last prereq in NN days. Are you going for days or nights? Did you have your interview yet??
  12. Hey there! I used to work at a MEPS so I can give you some insight. You will have to do bloodwork, drug test, and if you are 39 1/2 you will have to do fasting bloodwork so do not eat after midnight if that applies to you. You will do an eye exam, hearing test, and have an interview with the doctor based on your medical history. You will have to strip down so that the doctor can do a breast exam and listen to your heart, etc. He/She will not do a pap but they will look for abnormalities. You will have to do the duck walk along with a few more exercises as well. Oh yeah, and if you do fall in the bracket of 39 1/2, you will also have to do an ekg as well. I hope this helps!!
