  1. To Heather B SST- you are a lot of help BUT I have asked MANY advisors, instructors and supervisors what the schedule was for just the nursing classes minus the clinic in the evening weekend program. They act like they cant tell me. I was told by a staff member that they don't want to tell me because then I will "hold them to what they said". I just need an average ie: first semester Mon 3-8 Wed 5-7, and so on and so on. I just need to know if my job is going to be an issue. NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO GIVE ME AN ANSWER. I will have all credits except nursing so I feel that I can handle the schedule but????? Any help??
  2. Thanks so much for your insight mom25. I am so torn on whether to apply for 2010 or wait till 2011. Don't know if you know this but the state changed the curriculum starting 2010. I am not sure it will really change the classes, however a few general education classes and prereq's changed. You now have to be a CNA first. One of the directors said she is not sure how it will affect the class schedule. I actually would be great to have most classes to start at 5 or after and on weekends. The four o clock ones would be a disruption to my work schedule. I am a dental hygienist and the only one in my practice and I see pts till 3. (not supposed to really leave the office till 4). I just wish someone had better answers around the school. It is hard to tell when clinicals are but other classes should be easier to feel out. I looked online at the current class schedule and most of the classes looked to me to start at 4. Anyhow enough about me. Do you have any gen ed classes already? The only ones I need are Bio 165 and 166 because they expired this year. I graduated from GTCC in 2001. I would love to keep in touch with you and see what insight you get. I have three children and my husband works 12 hour shifts as a paramedic. So I will have to juggle a lot of things. I am not worried, I know it can be done however I just can't back off my salary too much. I plan to speak with my employer and tell her my plans (dreams) soon. Thanks again. You are a really big help. :heartbeat
  3. I am applying for 2010 at GTCC in Jamestown night and weekend program. I have a full time job till 3 3 days a week and till 5 one day a week.
