  1. Hi everyone, Well i am soon to be 21 years old, just finished to be a certified medical assistant(thought it would be a good start to make money for my major). My main focus NOW is to be a Registered Nurse. I talked to a counselor and basically said, "okay how do i go about this, im a little lost." I know im pretty young but i feel so STUCK and confused:bugeyes:. My goal is to do everything i want to do, have a career i love and enjoy and feel satisfied by the time i get married and have kids one day. The problem is the college i currently attend is not in my district so im not allowed to do the nursing program there. My counselor suggested i go do an LPN program somewhere else and then i would be able to return with my license to do my degree "when you get married or something" without having to live in the district. I know RN is heavy work, but geeze i needed more encouragement from her. LPN sounds great, but its not much difference from pay rate as an MA, and i really wanted to go full force to get an associates and become an RN. Am i just jumping WAY TOO ahead of myself?? Is there a benefit from doing LPN and then doing Associates for RN? Or is the thought of going straight to another college that will accept me and finish my degree at a steady pace truly whats best? I know so many questions, but i know all of you know so much and i would appreciate your opinions. Thanks:redbeathe
