  1. Hello there. I don't know if this is the right place for this post, but here goes: I have taken all the pre-reqs to apply for Nursing School here in FL. My fiance was recently laid off and I am the main bread winner now. We have a 4 yr old son and bills to pay. Everyone I know that ever went (or is going) to nursing school either quit their jobs or worked very part-time. Is it possible to work a 9-5 type of job (well, my case is 7-3) and go to school? Are there programs out there that accomodate the working adult wanting to become a nurse? I have yet to find one. I know that I can't get my RN online, the only programs offered online are the ones for RN-BSN or RN-MSN..ect. Any advice (or referrals to schools) would be great. Thanks a bunch everyone. THis site is very informative and I Have already learned quite a bit from just picking out some threads to read.
