Nurse the World
Hey thanks Donster. I talked with some people from Docs without borders and they were happy to see someone with practical field and ED experience going to nursing school. I just got offered a job in the ED here in Australia too. I'll have worked on an ambulance, for the fire department, in three Emergency departments in two countries and finish nursing school in 2010. I am only 26 and plan on working over in some sweet destinations and some very dangerous ones. Somehow I feel global work/travel wont be a problem. I can't wait to graduate and have more tools to help with.

For the love of helping others. It's a pretty cool feeling. Oh, and global travel opportunities. What better way to see the world than by lending a helping hand all over the globe.

French Nursing Diploma
You are going to nursing school in France? That's cool. I am going to nursing school in Australia and I plan on getting work back in the United States when I am done. I left work at my old hospital and they told me that when I want to come back and work as a nurse I must take the nclex. If you have a passport, are an american citizen and pass the nclex I don't think it'd be a problem. Many of my friends back at the hospital are from the philipenes and they had an easy time getting work as a nurse. Also look for hospitals to sponsor you upon your return. They can usually hook you up.

Nurse the World
Hello people, I would like to find out as much information as possible about nursing all over the world. I am a nursing student in Western Australia. Just a few months ago I was working in the ER in Sacramento California where I am from. I moved here to WA to go to nursing school since they had no wait list. I should graduate with a bachelors of Nursing in November 2010. My goal thereafter is working in Africa with 'Medecins Sans Frontieres' (Doctors Without Borders), Nepal, Burma and many other places. Does anyone have connections or experience? What are the requirements and restrictions if a nurse would like to work in say; Germany or Japan?
