  1. nurses and allied medicals must have at least 3 years MINIMUM hospital experience, and totally qualified and exposed to your area of specialization for your application to be considered for preliminary review.
  2. ZMH itself has no recruitment website as this is the exclusive UAE military hospital, catering only to staffers and dependents of the UAE General Head Quarters (navy, army, military, airforce and other units) this hospital faility is extremely restricted to civilians. visit the website of GMS, that's Global Medical Solutions, LLC, which is the internal recruitment and human resource of all GHQ medical units.
  3. hi...Abu Dhabi, like the rest of the Emirates is a fantastic place to live and work in. Western qualified and trained nurses are also in demand. Salary packages would vary depending on which emirate, what area of specialization as a nurse, experience and which hospital. There are numerous hospitals and private clinics but to get the most benefits and career/experience exposure, you need to go for the real facilities, and not just clinics. Search the net for zayed, mafraq, al noor, lifeline, SKMC, nmc.....among the number of established facilities here. Government owned facilities usualy have very good packages.
  4. Zayed Military hospital is a vast facility. It also has most of the best benefits for allied health/nurses and medical practitioners. Currently ZMH offers the highest range among the medical communities in Abu Dhabi and surrounding emirates. You will need a lot of personal and professional discipline as this is a strictly military (and only military) hospital, catering only to UAE service members and dependents. Consider yourself lucky to be offered a post with ZMH and its units.
  5. hi...i have just read this post as i am also new to the site. by this time, I hope you have already been sorted out and started work with ZMH. If not, have you sorted it out with your agency? If youre from Jordan, I presume you were recruited from the agency partner there since you mentioned that other nurses are already leaving to join. What did the recruitment section at ZMH tell you regarding the visa? It usually takes 15 to 25 days for the work entry permit to come out from immigration after the PRO has filed it with corrections.
