  1. Well, I am still on the job hunt. I have been bothering the hiring nurse at VA hospital. I called 3 weeks ago to show I am still very interested in working there. I also called a few days ago and left a message, she called me back, but I was out jogging and she told my folks she was just returning my call. Is this a good sign?
  2. I finally passed NCLEX-PN a few weeks ago. I have looking for some jobs. I know that LPN jobs in the hospital is scarce these days, but I am dissappointed still. I am interested in working for VA hospital, since they accept LPNs. I applied a couple weeks ago. They called me back this week and asked me what field of nursing I was interested in. They then said that they would put me on file and let me know when a job opening came up. Is this a good sign? How long did you guys wait to get a job? Thanks.
  3. I got the minimun 85 questions, so I really think that I passed since I got the maximum 205 last time. I hate to sound overconfident or whatever, but this time I recognized more questions this time than previous 2 times. The previous 2 times it seemed like I didn't know what the hell I was doing.
  4. I AM GOING TO DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Well. I know I have said this before I think I am ready. I don't know how you guys study? I have been getting most NCLEX practice book questions correct. I having done a lot of reading also. May not be the most coventional method, but I have memorized all the answers from the practice tests, so I haven't been using them to much. A couple of nurses have told me they think I am ready. I just can't wait to get this over and join the rest of you guys in the world of nursing.
  6. Well. I take the NCLEX PN for the third time on April 3. I have gotten some help studying. I feel that I have learned alot about myself since I have gotten out of school over 6 months ago. My aunt who is helping me study said that the reason I failed was because I was nervous, since I got the maxim 205 questions both times. I have a feeling that sometimes I am my own worst enemy. Some days are better than others. I feel that sometimes I am to emo or neurotic for my own good.
  7. Well it looks like I wasn't cut out to be a nurse. I take not passing NCLEX-PN the second time as a sign. I hate my life.
  8. Well I am ready to redeem myself. On Thursday I will be taking the NCLEX PN for the second time. Thank you guys for all the support. I have prepared myself by studying harder and being in a positive state of mind.
