Thank u guys...this info is very useful. I was really unmotivated my sophomore yr in college and messed up my GPA. Marissa, I am also thinking about nvcc and I will apply there just to see what happens. Hopefully they accept me. The only thing is that I already took most of the pre-reqs needed for the nursing program. I will call nvcc tomorrow and ask them some more questions.

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I am completing my Bachelors degree in Business from VCU in December and I am interested in the second degree Accelerated BSN programs. I am in the Northern Va area and I'm looking for schools in the area. My big problem is my GPA. By the time I graduate it will be a 2.36 and I know that is really low to get into a nursing program.. But I plan on taking my prerequisite classes at NOVA to try to bring up my GPA. Does anyone have any advice on any Nursing schools that I should apply to that might accept me???? or advice on any other paths I can take?? I'm really confused and need any help that I can get.
