  1. So I've just been curious how hard clinicals are for the nursing programs...The classes I'm in now are SOOOO hard such as Anatomy and Physiology and Microbiology..It Almost feels like I'm learning a new language and I get so discouraged and think I'm not smart enough for these courses...I was just trying to see if clinicals are alot better because its more hands on?....I just think once I get to my clinicals it will all piece together and it will feel so much better having a since of what I would actually be doing instead of sitting in A&P lab learning the Orgin, Insertion and action of muscles etc. Hopefully clinicals will be alot more interesting. Any input?
  2. So my school has a two year waiting list for the nursing program...So I've been thinking i could do the LPN program which is a certificate get some experience get payed better than what I am now then have the hospital I'm working for pay for me to get my RN....I was wondering if anyone has ever done the lPN to RN program and if they would reccommend it....I just think If I worked as an LPN for awhile I would have so much more experince and confidence going into my RN clinicals...thanks for your input!
  3. I have been so stressed because I don't know if I should get my BSN vs an ADN...I'm currenty in a community college about a semester away from applying for the nursing program...I've heard there is plently of job security in the nursing field even with an assosiates degree... I know I wouldn't want to have any supervision positons in the nursing profession I just want to be a floor nurse working in the ER or labor and delivery. So i'm just wondering what current nurses thing about an ADN and what they would reccommened...thank you!
