Hello! I'm only in my 2nd year of nursing school, but am really interested in working in peds. oncology after graduation. Is there anything I should be doing NOW to help me get into that unit later? Any special requirements I should know? Are new grads even hired into the unit? Also, is there a journal for peds oncology? Or any additional resources? Any answers would be extremely helpful, I'm so lost in the nursing world!! Thanks! :heartbeat

Hi all! My family has been bugging me to get a Christmas list sent out to them since the beginning of October and I don't need/want much of anything! So I was thinking of asking for some nursing "stuff" that would be of help to me in the future. Do you have any suggestions of books, flash cards, cds, etc. that would be wise to get? I'm only 2 years into nursing school, so NCLEX-RN book ideas or any clinical note card ideas would be helpful. Thanks in advance for helping me fill up my Christmas list.
