  1. Sorry I'm driving and I don't know why it did that...
  2. Ok I have a 3.7 GPA 80% on the TEAS I have taken all pre reqs except scoiology and gotten As in everything except one and it was a B(89)! I graduated high school with Academic Scholars. Please explain to me how that's below standard...and I would be more than happy to email you a copy of any of those things to prove what I'm saying is true.
  3. Ok so I'm a little upset right now. Last semester I was placed on a waiting list for Mercy school of nursing...well when you are placed on their wait list you are automatically considered for the next semester.. so I've been waiting on my letter to see if I got in for the summer session and it says "We cannot accept your application at this time". Oh an that "I regret to inform you that your calculated admissions score fell below the standard set by the committee" so my application was good enough in September and now its below their standards? I'm really in a daze over this...I went from 33 on their waitlist to #9 for the spring of 2011. Ggggggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Well I sure hope that's what my letter says! Its actually for the Summer 2011..I just don't want to get my hopes up. I was placed on their wait list for the spring of 2011 and it was a little heart breaking. Someone got a letter today so I'm pretty sure mine will be here tomorrow. I probably won't sleep tonight. Best wishes to all of you!
  5. Mercy School of Nursinf in Charlotte,NC. We are waiting on our letters now(we will have them by the end of the week). We have applied for the summer of 2011. The school we've applied to accepts applications 3 times a year but its very competetive. MSON only takes between 30-40 a semester. They only have a total of 140 students in the entire school. What about you?
  6. I replied to you on the other board. What is your GPA? What did you make on TEAS? What did you make in your pre-reqs? Is this your first time applying?
  7. Yes I've applied to MSON. Is that where you applied? If so what did you get on the TEAS? What is you GPA? What grades did you make in you pre-reqs? Do you have a degree? Sorry for all the questions but I really want to know what the competition is.
  8. I'm just curious if there is anyone out there that has applied to the summer session at Mercy! Letters go out next week!
  9. If you want something bad enough you can do it! My last semester I took Micro, College Algebra, English 111, and Nutrition(which was actually the most difficult of the 4 classes for me but I took it online). I managed to make As in all of the classes! I was so proud of myself. I never thought I would make that good of grades with all of the work I had to do. I did it and it just made me realize that I can do anything.
  10. I hate to crash your board...I'm a summer 2011 hopeful! (The school I've applied to accepts students 3 times a year.) Its a very competitive program that only accepts between 30 and 40 students a semester, 140 students overall for the entire school. I applied to the spring 2011 and was placed on a waitlist(which means I could still hear last minute if a spot opens for that) being placed on the waitlist automatically places me back into the application round for the next semester. So I'm ever so impatiently waiting to hear if I've gotten in for the summer class! I will know on or before the 15th of this month. My school looks at everything as a whole...science grades,SAT,TEAS, and if you have a degree in another feild. Which I don't and I feel that's the one thing hurting me. These are my grades A&P I- B A&P II- A Micro- A 80% on TEAS 3.8 GPA
  11. You have applied there before? I've been upset all day. I really don't see how I could move up as many spots as I need to to get in. I have done all I can do to get accepted. I really set my heart on this and now all I have is disappointment. I could have easily been accepted into many other schools but I saw this as a challenge. I don't really want to spend the next few months with my fingers crossed praying that the people that have been accepted and waitlisted don't take their chance of a lifetime. I'm not going to give up on nursing school but I also won't be applying to mercy again. Congrats to everyone that was accepted!
  12. I'm in Gastonia near charlotte...got my letter today.. not exactly the news I hoped for. I got put on the waiting list! What a bummer. I really didn't realize that this school gave priority to the applicants that held a degree in another area. But oh well I guess all I can do is wait and see. Goodluck to the rest of you!
  13. ok so this is driving me crazy! i kinda think they get enjoyment out of knowing were sitting at home driving ourselves crazy. by september 15th means before! our deadline was july 1st which means they have had plenty of time. i say we get our letters on after the 15th. grrrrr
  14. I haven't heard anything... I've been checking the mailbox everyday! Let me know as soon as you find something out.
